Irena Dimitrova

Born 1980 in Varna, Bulgaria.

2017 - PHD Degree at the Institute of Art Studies – Bulgarian Akademy of Science.
2012 – 2015 г. – PhD student in " New Art " at the Institute of Art Studies of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
2002 - 2008 - University of Fine Arts and Design, Saarbruecken, Germany ; Master of Fine Arts Degree.
1999 - 2001 - Fine Arts Departmant of the Veliko Turnovo University, Bulgaria.
1994 - 1999 – Fine Arts Departmant at the National School of Arts " Dobry Hristov ", Varna.

Member of the Union of the Varna artists and part of the art-group " Wednsday 5 " (Сряда 5).
